PHOTO: After taking his oath at Joint Base MDL several months ago, Lakewood resident Dovid Egert is on his way to becoming a United States Air Force Chaplain.
Egert, endorsed by Yeshiva Pirchei Shoshanim of Lakewood and a graduate of Rabbi Yerucham Shain’s Adelphia Yeshivah, has been working for the Township’s DPW for nearly three years.
Over the past five weeks, Dovid has been training in Maxwell, Alabama, and will complete his training next Summer in another location, after which he will become an Air Force Chaplain.
“It is a honor and a privilege to serve and protect in the greatest air force in the world,” Dovid told TLS.
