Wind Causes Scattered Power Outages In Lakewood And Other Towns In O.C.

Jersey Central Power & Light company is reporting scattered outages in the Shore area, due to the weather. Outages were reported in Ocean County include parts of Toms River, Lakewood, Lavallette, Jackson and Brick. Electric service has also been interrupted in parts of Middletown and Manasquan. Outages are affecting less than 500 people in each county, as of 2:30 p.m., according to the company website. APP
