For the Region along and just southeast of interstate 95, precipitation ill begin as rain, then begin mixing with snow by late morning, before changing to all snow during the afternoon and into the evening, the National Weather Service says. Some snow accumulations are possible, which could lead to
slushy and slick roadways.

“If you have travel plans for Wednesday, especially into eastern Pennsylvania or Northwestern New Jersey, that travel should be completed by mid-morning today to avoid any weather related delays,” the Service said

Snow accumulation by this evening could be about an inch, the Service says.
