We All Get Pulled Over-Even Chris Christie

Police allowed New Jersey Republican gubernatorial candidate Chris Christie to drive on even though he was ticketed for not having auto insurance and a registration. Millennium Radio News reports Christie was stopped in Lambertville in 2005. He was with his wife, four children and Michele Brown. She stepped down from the U.S. Attorney’s Office on Tuesday after it was revealed Christie had loaned her $46,000. Lambertville Police Director Bruce Cocuzza says Christie had mentioned he was U.S. Attorney. But Cocuzza says Christie was permitted to drive away because of the children. Cocuzza says Christie later provided police with the registration and insurance card. He pleaded guilty and paid fines. Gov. Jon Corzine also paid a fine for not wearing a seat belt when his the State Police SUV crashed in 2007. AP
