A water main break at 4th Street and Monmouth Avenue has left hundreds without running water, officials says. The break is affecting New Jersey American Water customers in the area. The issue is expected to be corrected within 7 hours, TLS was told.

NJ American Water works until the job is done..they don’t pay heed to the Purim holiday..if its an emergency they have to take care of it..you can’t let the water leak for 2 days…so you can have a holiday
What I think # 2 was referring to was that if the work isn’t done before the holiday then they will have an extremely difficult time completing the work owing to the heavy traffic
