  1. Very very different cast this year. Looks like they went yeshivish. I think everyone missed Country and Lipa. They added a lot of personality. A reason for people to be up at 3 AM!! I fell asleep.

  2. Who won the large cash prize? I think Oorah is doing a big disservice by not reporting who won. Assuming that the person won big and wants to keep it quiet which is understandable, but they should at least report where he/ she is from and how much was won. Not reporting anything may have some doubting if in fact there was a winner.

  3. to cool masmid:
According to lottery law the large cash prize can not be picked until 3 business days (i believe that is the amount if days)after the auction. therefore that will be picked later in the week according to U.S. law

  4. yes, they announced last nite that they will be picking the thousand dollar raffle winner next motzei Shabbos on their website, as chaim said due to legal issues

  5. I never win raffles – that’s why I try to give enough to get a free gift. I can’t begin to describe how thrilled to the moon my son was when he got his Fiveish linen. He went nuts-o. He didn’t stop smiling for 8 days. & he called me the best Totty in the world. So, isn’t that worth a few shekels ? & I dodnt have to win it ! Thanx, OORAH, u guys rock !! And, uh, if u need a guest speaker, storyteller, kumzitz guy, zemiros promoter any Shabbos in the summer @ Boys Zone, you know where to find me !! DB.
