PHOTO: The War Memorial on North Lake Drive was vandalized with gang graffiti. The memorial, near the amphitheatre along Lake Carasaljo, was tagged with ‘MS’ and ’13’ along its two sides.
Other graffiti was also found nearby.

It always amazes me to think there are mature adults of all ages that belong to a “gang.” Babies, grow up. Become a productive member of society instead of being pathetic, immature and belonging to a group of guys who sport tattoos, do drugs and murder each other. I did my service and am not shocked or taking it personal. It’s nice we have staff to take care of. Most people upset, probably didn’t even know we had a war memorial. Besides all that why not offer some time to help clean up lakewood instead of complaining about nothing.
MS 13 is considered to be the second biggest threat after al-queda.
