Volunteers For Miami-Dade Hatzalah, Founded By Former Lakewood Resident, Graduate EMT Class

Miaimi Hatzalah was founded approximately nine months ago by former Lakewood resident Zalmy Cohen.

Hatzalah began with 30 members, in an effort to serve the North Miami Beach and Aventura areas.
A third class of volunteers – expected to be of 25-30 volunteers – is set to begin after Sukkos and is expected to cover the Miami Beach, Surfside and Bal Harbour areas.
