Lakewood Resident Pledges to Beat Assemblyman Schnall’s 4-minute Voting Time
Lakewood Resident, Hal Grassman, issued a declaration today pledging to beat Assemblyman Avi Scnall’s 4-minute voting time. The Assemblyman cast his vote for the the mid-term election today in 4 minutes time.
“Assemblyman Schnall is a tough competitor,” Mr. Grassman told reporters shortly before entering the polling station today, “but I’ve been practicing the last several months with an immitation voting booth that I have at home, and I believe that there is no one out there today who can press those voting levers quicker than me! Trust me, I’ll be out of that polling station before you can say the words, ‘Hey, you’re done voting already?!’ ”
Mr. Grassman reportedly exited the polling station 5 1/2 minutes after entering the facility with a somber and dejected look on his face.
“Sigh, I tripped as I was about to enter the voting booth,” he told reporters, “and then I had problems closing the curtain, which is why it took me so painfully long to cast my vote. What can I say, this is not at all what I had anticipated.”
“I just hope this whole thing wasnt a set-up,” he said, “because I know for certain that I could have exited that polling station in less than 3 minutes.”
“But I’ll be back next year,” he promised, “and I will defeat Assemblyman Schnall once and for all…, not as a candidate, but as a voter, who just happens to have the fastest voting moves in the county!’
