  1. It was so nice to be able to go to an amusement park with the right atmosphere for my family. Although it was crowded the lines moved quickly! Thank you to the special chidlrens center!!!

  2. It did seem like millions were there and also very disorganized. I appreciate that we were able to get discounted rates but the park was clearly not equipped to deal with the crowd. One person manning 3 rides is a bit much, don’t you think? Also, the parking was a nightmare and with police giving out tickets… I think many people found their outing a lot more expensive than they had hoped.

  3. there is not enough walking space and bumping into hundreds of peopl all day isnt fun or tzniusdik. there was literaly no place to walk! maybe next year they can do it for 2 days to split up the crowd a little bit.

  4. Yes it is a great cause and I wish them hatzlacha. However as mentioned before there has to be more orginization. Maybe they were not expecting such a huge crowd but I was so uncomfortable with all the pushing I don’t think I’ll be back again. It was great to be able to take my family to an amusement park without the usual tznIus/pritzus problems however this type of setup has its own taaruvos tzniuz type of problems.

  5. It was so great to have an amusement park with only haymishe people. I don’t ususaly like to send my kids to parks because of all the pritzus. Tjis was so great we will definitly be back next year from williamsburg. This was the best chol hamoed event!

  6. what a special way to spend the day suppporting such a wonderful organization. true the lines were a drop long but my kids got to go on all the rides and had a ball. the time that i had waiting on line (which wasnt that long compared to all the huge parks all for that matter any where you go on chol hamod) i was able to spend quality time with my kids in a beatiful heimishe atmosphere please stop kvetching

  7. Number 7 nobody is complaining about the lines. They are complaining about the lack of walking space in the park in general. It was hard to get from one place to another without literaly having to squeeze between 2 people and elbowing your way through. The lines were actually the most relaxing part of the park. Nobody bumping into you etc. The lines are always long in amusement parks. It just seemed like this park wasn’t equipped to hold so many. And the worthiness of the orginization doesn’t change the facts. The facts are that people drove an hour or more from ny and have the right to make suggestions how to improve the experience for next time. We had as great time even with th crowdiness my kids are already talking about next chol hamoed!

  8. if you were just offering ways how to improve kol hacoved there is always room for improvement especially since this was their first year my point just was that it was such a beautiful experience to see so many yidden toghter enjoying themselves in a non prituzis envoirment while supporting such a choshuv mosad why cant we just look at the positves instead of having to always focus on the negtives and tell everybody about things that we felt didnt go that good the people that run this mosad give every second of their for other people that nobodyelse would help so if you had a slight inconvenince just go on in life and be happy about the good time that you had and if you really have some positve critisism to make you can look up the centers number and give them a call but just complaing on a blog to the whole world is called a kvetch

  9. Thank you, shocked by the comments. So am I. People are so negative it is scary. If you don’t like lines and being surrounded by people don’t go out on chol hamoed and if you don’t want to go back somewhere don’t. But why share your negativity with those of us that had the most amazing uplifting day?! Thank you Special Children Center-keep up the good work!

  10. my memories of amusement parks is large crowds and lots of people!

unfortunatley there are those that always need to find something to complain about – they are usually unhappy with themselves!
