VIDEO: Police Chase Deer Through Elementary School in Toms River

Toms River police officers were dispatched to Cedar Grove Elementary after a resident reported that they witnessed a deer breaking through a glass window and entering the school.

Officers quickly located the deer, but in an attempt to escape arrest, it took off running down the hallway and into a classroom.

Officers opened the rear door and guided the deer to the exit.

  1. Toms River Police Say Deer That Attacked Local School Was Not A Lone Wolf; Planned Out Attack With Other Deer On Social Media
Toms River police say a deer that attacked a local elementary school on Thursday was not a lone wolf attacker, and that several deer – who belong to a large sleeper cell of violent and malicious deer – planned out the attack with him via social media in recent months.
“We’ve found some disturbing and threatening messages on various social media sites from a group of malicious deer – that includes the alleged attacker – which manifest a deep-seated hatred for American elementary schools,” said Toms River police officer, Robert Ketchum. “These threatening messages suggest that the attack on the school wasn’t simply a case of a lone wolf deer who went berserk and decided to attack, but rather it was a premediated attack by a group of hate-filled, vicious deer, whose ultimate goal is to destroy every last elementary school in America!”
However, a childhood friend of the attacker, a deer by the name of Mr. George Deerfeld, told reporters on Wednesday that the alleged attacker never manifested any kind of hatred or violent tendencies during his youth.”
“He was a well-behaved animal during his youth,” Mr. Deerfeld said of his childhood friend, “I can’t believe he’s changed so much over the years, that he would suddenly barge into an elementary school and wreak total havoc there. He was never THAT type of deer!”
