VIDEO: Person Killed in Fiery Turnpike Crash

tpk fatal mvaVIDEO: At least one person was killed in a fiery crash on the New Jersey Turnpike this evening, as earlier reported on our news alerts (@LakewoodScoop).

New Jersey State Police said the crash occurred on the southbound lanes at mile post 12.6 in Woolrich.

One of the vehicles involved became engulfed in flames, and apparently trapped the driver.

All lanes are shut and are being diverted at exit 4.

The closure will affect drivers heading to Baltimore as well.
