VIDEO: As reported yesterday on our news alerts, local officials on Monday celebrated the opening of a new QuickChek in Lakewood.
The 24-hour store and gas station is located at the intersection of Cedarbridge and New Hampshire Avenues.
“Additional amenities include no-fee ATMs which provide additional added value to consumers; indoor seating for 13 people and outdoor seating for eight; eight gasoline pumps offering high-quality fuel at value prices; and 55 parking spaces,” QuickChek announced.
Officials attending the ribbon cutting were Lakewood Township Director of Economic and Industrial Development Steven Reinman, Lakewood Township Municipal Manager Thomas Henshaw, Lakewood Township Committeeman Raymond Coles, Lakewood Township Committeeman Michael D’Elia, Lakewood Township Police Chief Robert Lawson, and Lakewood Township Committeeman Meir Lichtenstein. Also in attendance, was QuickChek Store Leader Drew Allen, and QuickChek CEO Dean Durling.
The front row are members of the Lakewood Galaxy U8 soccer club, who are the beneficiary of the store’s grand opening fundraiser.
The store will be offering free coffee for the next two weeks.

I’m also kinda shocked that there it is not kosher. It would attract everyone if that were the case.
#1- Relax. I heard Gourmet Glatt is looking for another location. Give ’em six months and they’ll own this location too.
give it a few days i’m sure they will get it
Nice store. I’m sure the ppl in the houses right there are thrilled to be living behind a 24-hr gas station.
Free coffee for two weeks!
There is a large kosher grocery being built a very short distance away…I’m sure that included an anti compete so that they have a chance to service the kosher crowd.
There will be kosher soon…relax. Things take time..
Free slush?? Every playgroup in town…..
Everyone please calm down, its only food.
