VIDEO: Motorist nearly snapped by Snapping Turtle on Lakewood road

snapping turtle[VIDEO BELOW] A motorist attempting to pick up a snapping turtle and move it off the road today nearly got bitten by the dangerous reptile.

The incident occurred on Drake Road this morning, when the motorists decided to try and move the turtle causing traffic. There were several such turtles spotted in Lakewood over the past few days.

Never use your hands to attempt to catch the turtle, which has the capability to stretch it’s neck out behind its back and bite.
