,but would be nicer if it was in a different town,and Lakewood would still be what it was 25 years ago.A city built with ideals of the real world olem haba not making this world into our priority.Not everyone can live upto that standard that`s why it`s certainly nice,
In the 1980’s Lakewood was No “olem haba”, outside the Bais medrash it was an undeveloped “gehinom”. There was nothing here, every Sunday the entire Lakewood was in Boro Park, Lakewood weddings were by V’yoel Moshe in Williamsburg, other than the few teaching jobs there was no parnassah here; Shuls were only allowed to be built on Madison, Zichron Schneur was in Superior Court for years and with a temporary go ahead it went from a foundation to a finished Shul in 3 weeks & walking to Shul yidin were hit by cars vehicles came zooming close to people thus deliberately running them off the streets. Etc.
Today it’s a dream come true; כן ירבו
I agree with moshe there has to be a stop to all this madness we are running a high speeds away from our ideals!!
