  There in fact have been numerous incidents of children kidnapped – either via carjacking or by taking the child from the car – which happened in front of the child’s home, while the mom or dad went inside to grab an item, or take care of something. Often times, those “one minute” stops can turn into lengthy ones, and unfortunately prove deadly.
