VIDEO: Elenor Hannum Escorted by Police Out of Jackson Township Meeting

East Brunswick school teacher Elenor Hannum was removed by police from last night’s Jackson Township Council meeting.

The incident erupted when Hannum got up to speak at the podium during the public hearing for the Public Safety Director ordinance.

During her address, Hannum began mixing in alleged personal relationships, which the Council declared out of line.

“Can an officer please remove her from the room,” said Council President Jennifer Kuhn.

Hannum kept arguing that she had a right to speak, but she ultimately walked away from the podium and removed from the meeting by police.

Hannum, who was caught on tape discussing how to purchase a pine snake and place it on a Jewish owned property, has been the subject of numerous antisemitic incidents and outbursts in Jackson.

  1. Pine snakes are both non venomous and native to New Jersey, albeit in small numbers. She could have honestly just gone out and tried to catch some. They are snakes, though, so I’m unsure if she also gave suggestions as to how to instruct them to stay on the Jewish owned property and not move elsewhere …

    • Mirim: certain pine snakes are listed by the NJDEP as endangered or protected. I’m assuming if it was an as of yet undeveloped piece of land she was trying to get the DEP to prevent it from being developed without mitigation.

  2. Ok, but you forgot to write the rest of the article. What was she arguing/protesting? Pine snakes? Why she should be public safety director? 24 hour ice cream stores with security?

  3. This lady needs help. She doesn’t even have a point to any of her arguments. It would be nice to find out how she was appointed her current position
