VIDEO: Driver in custody after hit-and-runs in Lakewood and Jackson; Officer’s vehicle struck

A driver is in custody after two hit-and-run accidents in Lakewood and Jackson.

The driver of the truck allegedly struck a vehicle in Lakewood and fled the scene, and then continued into Jackson where he was involved in another accident – involving a law enforcement officer.

The driver was finally apprehended on Hope Chapel Road and taken into custody.

There were no reported injuries.
