[VIDEO BELOW] Authorities are investigating an apparent shooting in Lakewood this evening.
Police say they received reports of shots fired from a vehicle in the Raintree area shortly before 11 PM.
Police swarmed the area and upon arrival located a vehicle up against the staircase of a County Line Road home, with the vehicle’s two occupants gone.
Police immediately surrounded the home, and located one of the parties who were inside the home. He was placed under arrest.
A K9 unit was called in to help search for another suspect.

I had 4 different parties going on on my block ,non stop music with a beat from the subwoofer playing like chinese water torture.
Rowdiness , drunk driving , and inconsiderate noise way past dark waking sleeping children.
Thank you to all investors who help make Raintree unsafe and putting profits first..
Where in Raintree was the shooting?
call the police. I understand Lakewood has a noise ordinance stating music etc, can not be heard outside the walls of a home. would imagine something covers outside music etc, too.
The problem with calling police is the people hosting these parties often threaten or harrass the people who called. I’ve actually had someone on my block harrass me for calling the cops when I didn’t even call.
So I can understand some people’s hesitation in reporting these late night drunken parties.
I live on S. Lake Dr. I have called the police numerous of times almost every other night a bunch of cars park on the lake and party with music girls drinking and more The other day they were out there the police drove by it was Friday night and did nothing unless we get some type of patrol in our town this will keep happening and we will never be safe in our homes
Our boys in blue need help time for the state to step in and clean up
Localized ordinance for Boyz wit Noyz, not da State.
a few years ago when i lived in a different city –we called the police because a man was shooting out the lights on our street—the officer wanted to know if anyone was hurt–i said no–and he said he couldn’t do anything about the problem—the police have their hands tied due to laws that seem to protect the guilty before the innocent.
