‘Coincidence Theorists’ Rethinking Their Theory After Three Fires Break Out In Ocean County Hours Apart From Each Other
‘Coincidence’ Theorists – scientists who believe that things just occur randomly due to what they describe as “mere coincidences” – are now rethinking their theory and questioning the soundness of their argument after three fires broke out in Ocean County, NJ hours apart from each other.
“I mean when a colleague of mine recently spilled soup on me three times, all in one sitting, I rightly surmised that it was just an odd coincidence,” said Professor Edward Flukesberry, a renowned expert in the field of ‘Coincidences and Happenstances’. “However, three fires in Ocean county, just hours apart from each other, I mean, I hate to suddenly dismiss all of my life’s research, but this just can’t be a strange coincidence, can it?!”
University of Luxembourg Professor, Dr. Steven Fate, says that the three fires in Ocean County, just hours apart from one another, prove the argument that he’s been making over the latest 45 years or so, namely, “That there is no such thing as ‘Coincidences’, and that there is clearly a masterplan behind every occurrence that happens in life.”
“By the way,” the professor added, “did any of you reporters observe the student who ‘just happened’ to spit on me in the hallway just moments ago? Well, THAT wasn’t a coincidence either. Just take a look at his report card and see what grade I gave him, and you’ll understand what I’m saying.”
“Trust me,” the professor added, while wiping the spit off his face, “there’s no such thing as Coincidences.”
