USPS to Hold Grand Opening for Lakewood Post Office

post offc swarthmoreThe USPS has notified TLS that the Lakewood Post Office will host a Grand Opening next week for their Industrial Park post office.

The office recently relocated the retail operations to the postal facility at 1820 Swarthmore Avenue, where the grand opening will take place. The new location features a spacious lobby and ample parking.

Postal staff will be available at the grand opening to demonstrate how to use the new Self-Service Kiosk.

The event will be held on Monday, November 24, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Light refreshments will be served.

Less counters, smaller lobby, longer lines! So why they move? Call this upgrade? This is a downgrade!

will my friend who screams at everyone that brings mail to the dock a minute late be on hand for the event? I love seeing him each day growling at one and all.
