UPDATED: ATV Rider Airlifted After Being Ejected From Vehicle

PHOTO: An ATV rider was seriously injured after being ejected from the vehicle this evening, TLS has learned. The accident occurred about 9:20 PM at the intersection of Clear Stream Driveand Green Valley Road.The first Hatzolah units on scene requested for Paramedics to respond.

The driver, an approximately 20 year old female, was not wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, an official told TLS.

The driver suffered a head injury and was airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical Center, the official said.

Jackson Police are investigating the accident. [TLS-46/TLS-CCP]

Yes, my thoughts and prayers are with her as well.

All the same, if she was riding an ATV, without a helmet, I would not call her a victim.
