The hours during which disabled children and their parents/guardians will be administered the first dose of Pfizer’s Covid-19 vaccine have been updated.
Working in conjunction with the Office of Senator Robert Singer, Monmouth Medical Center, and CHEMED, the Lakewood Board of Education will now be providing the vaccine to eligible “classified” children today, Wednesday 4/7 and Thursday 4/8 from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm, and on Sunday 4/11 from 3:30 pm to 5:30 pm in a tent set up at the Lakewood High School.
Next week, vaccines will be administered at Monmouth Medical Center Southern Campus in Lakewood on Tuesday 4/13, Wednesday 4/14, and Thursday 4/15 from 8 am until 12 noon.
To register for the vaccine, click here. Once registered, you will receive a message with the date and time to be administered the vaccine.
So far, nearly 1,000 disabled children and their parents have registered to receive the vaccine.
Call the Lakewood poskim to find out how they feel about the vaccine. It is important to follow your local Daas Torah.
Yes checked with my Rav in Lakewood, and yes he told me to take the vaccine. Perhaps you should contact your Rav too.
