UPDATE – TRAGEDY: Petirah of Hayeled Yitzchok Rosenberg A”H

We regret to inform you of the Petirah of Hayeled Yitzchok Rosenberg A”H (son of Pinchos, grandson of R’ Sruly of Sruly’s Mechanic), who was Niftar following today’s tragic accident in Jackson. He was eight months old.

The Kevurah is scheduled to take place at the Street Bais Olam, Chelkas Hayeladim, at 5:45 PM Erev Shabbos.

(NOTE: The child was Niftar shortly after arriving at the hospital, and we were well aware. However, messages about the Petirah were going around before the family at home was notified. TLS was directly in touch with Askonim and professionals dealing with the tragedy, and the above information was only published after the family was properly notified by Askonim and professionals.)

Kudos to Tls they stick to their principles while others were quick to post they waited for family to be properly notified. What a shame that even some mainstream media outlets don’t have the sensitivity of the Lakewood scoop. May we never need this sensitivity and only share simchas

This tragedy is heartbreaking and heart wrenching. Nobody should ever have to experience such pain and loss. May Hashem give the family the strength to find Nechama and somehow find the courage to live forward.

BD”E. Hashem should send a nechama to the whole Rosenberg family, especially Harav Sruly. Someone who I used to watch with awe coming into BMG after a hard day at the auto shop (he probably still does, I’m just not zoiche to be there to witness).
