Lakewood and Howell police are investigating two separate shots-fired incidents involving a vehicle believed to have been stolen in Lakewood.

As first reported on TLS, at approximately 11:00 p.m., Lakewood Police responded to a residence on Massachusetts Avenue after receiving a report of gunfire on Sunset Road.

The reporting party told police he was driving behind a white four-door sedan when an occupant fired a single round toward his vehicle. The sedan was believed to have been stolen in Lakewood earlier that evening.

A short time later, police received a report of another shots-fired incident involving a vehicle matching the same description in Howell.

The investigation remains active. Anyone who witnessed either incident or has information regarding the white sedan is asked to contact the Lakewood Police Department at 732-363-0200.
