Jackson Police department today released little information about the investigation into a body found at an office building in Lakewood.

As first reported by TLS, Jackson Police Officers responded to a commercial office building located at 2290 West County Line Road on the report of a male that had been discovered not breathing.

“Responding officers located a 58-year-old deceased male in an office on the lower level of the building,” police said. Detectives from the Jackson Police Department, Ocean County Prosecutor’s Office and the Ocean County Sheriff’s CIU also responded to the scene as the building was secured for the investigation.

“At this time there does not appear to be any danger to the public in relation to this incident,” police said.

The investigation is ongoing.
