To date, approximately $900,000 was raised for the families of those murdered in the Har Nof massacre last week, before the matching funds. In addition, TLS has just received word that another $100,000 was offered to the matching funds.

“Fearing that the donations will slow down once the $1mm was reached, a donor from Chicago that received a viral email from a friend has agreed to raise the matching funds from $1mm to $1.1mm by pledging up to $100k,” Eastern Union President Ira Zlotowitz tells TLS.

Which means, all money raised by tomorrow, will be matched by up to $1.1 million. So if $1.1 million is raised by tomorrow, the families will receive $2.2 million.

“I am confident that in the next 24 hours, at the rate the money is coming in, we will IY”H hit and exceed the $1.1mm total available for match,” Ira says.

“If you know anyone that has the ability to give a larger amount so that we can raise the $1.1mm matching, please have them reach me.”
