Two Injured, Home Destroyed in Overnight Fire in Lakewood [PHOTOS]

Two people, including a firefighter, were injured in an overnight fire in Lakewood, which left the home destroyed.

The fire broke out in the Raintree neighborhood home approximately 1:30 AM.

A resident of the home – who was trapped and rescued – was hospitalized with serious injuries to JSUMC, while a firefighter was transported to Ocean Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is being investigated.
