We regret to inform you of the tragic Petirah of a seven-week old suddenly Niftar in Lakewood this morning.

Hatzolah was summoned to the home around 6:30 AM after the infant – Shmuel Hillel Notis, son of R’ Yehoshua Leib – was found unresponsive. Hatzolah worked on the infant for nearly an hour before he was pronounced at MMCSC.

Officials say it appears the child was R”L Niftar from SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

Lakewood’s Detective Bureau and CSI responded.

Askonim, led by veteran Askan and Chaplain Reb Yisroel Schenkolewski, worked to ensure proper Kavod Hameis.

The Levaya took place this evening in Lakewood.
