TLS regrets to inform you of the tragic Petirah of Eli Schepansky Z”L, a Lakewood Bachur who was Niftar in a car accident this morning.
According to preliminary information obtained by TLS, Eli Z”L was traveling with another Bachur early this morning in South Jersey when their vehicle collided with a truck.
Sources tell TLS the boys were on their way back from dropping off two boys at the airport as a Chessed. The boys they drove to the airport were on their way out of town for a Chessed as well.
Eli Z”L, 18, is the son of Moshe and Leah.
The other Bachur was transported to a local trauma center and is in serious condition.
Askonim are working with local officials to ensure Kavod Hameis.
The Levaya is expected to take place in Lakewood. Details will be published when confirmed.
UPDATE: Please be Mispallel for the other Bachur, Mordechai Zelig ben Blima, who remains in serious condition.
UPDATE: The Levaya for Eli Z”L is scheduled to take place at 5:15 PM today at the Chapel in Lakewood, 613 Ramsey Avenue, with Kevurah in Lakewood.
