The Brick Township MUA and the Brick Township Police are currently on scene at a water main break at the intersection of Burnt Tavern Road and Herborn Avenue.

Traffic in the area will be rerouted as the repair crews attempt to locate the exact source and location of the break.

If traveling in the area, motorists should expect periodic lane closures at the Garden State Parkway Exit 91, Burnt Tavern Road (east and west in the area of exit 91), and Lanes Mill Road Northbound (in the area of exit 91).

Work to repair this break may also lead to lane shifts and full lane closures during and through rush hour.

Police are asking motorists to avoid the area, and make sure to follow road closure signs and directions from Police Officers on scene. This information will be updated as the situation progresses. [TLS]
