Traffic Alert: Tractor Trailer Gets Stuck In Verrazano Bridge Toll Booth

PHOTO: 8:55 a.m. If you’re crossing the Verrazano this morning, expect heavier delays than usual. Readers have notified TLS of a tractor trailer which got stuck in one of the Staten Island-bound Verrazano toll booths, reportedly after an MVA, causing heavy delays in the area.

I just drove into Brooklyn, the accident was actually Staten Island-bound and traffic was only backed up to half of the Verrazano Bridge. Brooklyn-bound traffic was not really affected.

Take away the toll booths and there would be no problem.
