TRAFFIC ALERT: Kent Road shuts for construction; Expected to be shut for months

Kent Road between County Line Road and the Howell border shut today until further notice.

The closure is for reconstruction of the bridge, and is expected to last at least a year, police say.

Detours in place.

Well, in China this would take less than a week. In the USA, at least a year! For goodness sake, it is only a bridge over a stream!

I hope there is some way of raising the roadway there. Over the last few years after moderate storms the roadway has been flooded from side to side. Going back 30 – 40 years ago you would see floods like that once every ten years or so. Now it’s multiple times per year. Hopefully they can do something about the power line access roads there as well. Too many people using it as their private dumping grounds.

  Are you saying that the climate is changing?
  I don’t know it is muttar to say that. Because then you might also believe that Black lives matter, and from there you might come to thinking that the Russians meddled into the American elections. That is ossur because of a gezeira that you might end up believing that corporations aren’t people and gerrymandering is anti-democratic. And who know where you might end up from there?
  
  Better just say that the floods are not really water, and it’s all a liberal/media plot of Big Pharma, and you will be better off.
