There will be a gas main project taking place on Kent Road, Ford Road, Brown Road, Driftway Road, Church Road, and Friendship Road starting next week.

This project is expected to last approximately two to three months.

They will be installing gas mains and services on these streets via directional drilling (they will not be trenching the road).

If all goes to according to plan, JCP&L will perform work next week on Kent Road (at the Lakewood Border), and will be closing Kent between Lakewood and Ford Road. Kiely construction will then start at the same location to utilize the fact that the road is already closed.

After JCP&L is done, there will be a person flagging and alternating traffic.
