Township to begin reconstruction of Ridge Ave

On or about May 30, 2017 reconstruction of Ridge Avenue from Park Avenue to 7th Street will begin, the Township announced today.

Ridge Avenue from 7th Street to New Hampshire Avenue is County road, and is also expected to be repaved in the near future.

The entire Ridge / Somerset area is a disaster!!! It’s unacceptable!!

I avoid those streets at all costs. When I am in that area I cant help but be perplexed that new houses went up recently with large lots while the street is so narrow. This reflects a very bad planning and approval process…
