Second the #1 comment. What kind of joke is this? Reducing the rejected budget by 0.002%? Someone has explaining to do
Lakewood is a city crammed into 25 sq miles! You 2 are complaining about the fire budget needs to be axed more!? Delusional and in denial that this town is maxed out in emergency services! Look at the financials and population for jersey city and others around the state! Then tell me how much should be cut from the fire budget! There should be 4 firefighters on each apparatus…Lakewood runs with 2 on each!! How much more dangerous do you want their job to be…it’s inherently dangerous already! Stop playing games with the Fire District!
Someone’s life WILL depend on this service and denying what Lakewood needs to do the best job possible is ludicrous!
