Thousands from around the globe tonight will be visiting the Tzion of Reb Shayele Kerestir, marking the Tzadik’s 97th Yahrtzeit.
Reb Shayele, Niftar in 1925, was known as tremendous Baal Mofes during his lifetime, and as a big Poel Yeshuos even after his Petirah.
Just like when the Rebbe was alive, Hachnosas Orchim at Kerestir operates around the clock, all year round, serving fresh hot food and drinks to the constant flow of visitors.
There are hundreds of stories reported by ordinary people who until today have seen open Nissim with the Tzadik.
Many Yahrtzeit Seudos are also held annually around Lakewood.
