The Special Children’s Center will be holding a barbecue event tonight as they kick off registration for their second annual Jog-A-Thon. The Jog-A-Thon, a 5 kilometer run for men to benefit the special children of the Special Children’s Center, will take place on Labor Day weekend.
This year’s run will feature state of the art timing chip systems and a scoreboard.
This evening’s barbecue, which will feature a video presentation as well as the training schedule, will take place at 86 Aspen Court, (Lakeview), at 7:00 PM.
Last year, over 75 runners participated in the run. See video here, and photos here.
The Center says, all runners this year will be entered into a raffle for a 3 year lease on a Toyota Avalon or Cash Value. TLS.
