A community-wide pre-dinner event to benefit SCHI Summer Camp (Poconos) will be held this evening – four days ahead of their Dinner at Lake Terrace.
This evening’s pre-dinner event will be taking place at Glatt Bite, 163 E. Kennedy Blvd.
The event will feature carving stations, and a full hot buffet. There will also be a short video presentation about Camp SCHI, along with words of inspiration from Rabbi Osher Eisemann, SCHI’s founder.
The event will run from 7:30 pm – 11:00 pm.
Can my wife come along, or is this event for men only. Please advise.
I hope to join. This event will hopefully raise the much neeeded fuunds for SCHI’s wonderful CAMP. You SCHI staff are the best. Keep up the great work.
What a great CAMP. I hope that they raise the funds so that the camp can stay opened!!
I am part of Camp Bonim in the Summer. Rabbi Greenwald knows
about it!
I know this event is for SCHI, but it is for men only.
Rabbi Greenwald is the Best and we thank his wife for every think she does
Isnt the camp funded by our dear GOVERMENT?
we need camp bonim!! please come support schi tonight!!!!!!!
A 4 day party at Glatt Bite, WOW, this is great. Kol Hacovod. Do they still want us to come to the SCHI, but why soo many events?
I love that SCHI pick-up truck (and the driver). Only SCHI can be so creative. It is almost as good as advertising on tissue boxes. I wonder what could be next!
We need sushi!!
From the headline it sounds like people are coming for carving stations!
To number 10 check out the lake
I invited all the residents living in the Fairways
Schi does receive funding for most of their schhol program however the government does not cover extra activities such as kriah, dikduk, davening, which is all done one on one after school as it cant be done during school hours. The camp is entirely out of the schhol, and is not funded at all by the government. It is from the generous support of our outstanding community that the families of these special needs kids can get the much needed respite, as well as these kids having a most amazing summer of their lives in a safe, growing and exciting atmosphere!!
Big thanks to Rabbi’s Rosenberg, Bock, Monoker, Shtendick and the many others that give their laiv v’ nefesh for these special neshomos!!!
