After spending close to 7 weeks in the hospital, a Misameach child was welcomed home by a Toms River Police escort. The little boy’s face was shining as he lived his dream – entering a Police charger, sounding the sirens and flashing his way home to an emotional homecoming by family and friends.
“The Toms River Orthodox Jewish community and Misameach would like to express their sincere appreciation to the Toms River Police Department for once again going above and beyond the call of duty to put a smile on the face of a child!” Misameach said.
“A Special Thank You To:
Toms River Police Chief Mitch Little
Toms River Police Chaplain Rabbi Abe Fried
Toms River Police Lieutenant Patrick Dellane and Toms River Police Sgt. Eugene Bachonski (Community Affairs Division).
The Toms River Building Department who were such a pleasure to work with, completing the inspections quickly so the child could return home.”
