PHOTO: Final Arguments Scheduled for Rabbi Eisemann Case; Osher ben Chana Frumit [UPDATED 3:30 PM]

As earlier reported, final arguments on the motion for a new trial for SCHI founder Rabbi Osher Eisemann will be taking place today.

Last month, both sides submitted briefs, and the judge scheduled oral arguments – the final arguments on the motion for a new trial are expected to begin soon.

“This is the last step before the judge rules if there should be a new trial on the two remaining counts, or if they should Ch’V proceed to sentencing (up to 20 years R”L),” and Askan involved in the case told TLS.

UPDATE 3:30 PM: The hearing was over moments ago, and the judge announced he will make a decision before the end of next week.

The family asks the Tzibur to continue to be Mispallel for Osher ben Chana Frumit.
