Exactly 25 years ago today, Rabbi Meir Kahane HY”D, an outspoken member of the Israeli Knesset, was murdered in New York. Just days before his murder, he spoke in Lakewood, and the speech was captured on film by Peretz Eichler.
The powerful speech was delivered at a large event at the Woodlake Country Club on October 30, 1990. Kahane was assassinated November 5, 1990 in midtown Manhattan’s Marriott East Side Hotel.
See video below for a snippet of his speech. (We will not currently be publishing the full speech.)

Amazing. A real Jewish fighter. May his remembrance be or a blessing.
Kahane was a remarkable fascinating fellow.
He was very unapologetically frum and straightshooting, and unfazed by all the bigshots and hotshots of the world
On the other hand ,he was always overly sure of himself and convinced that he understood that bigger whole picture better than others.
He also always liked davening in the Mirrer
Yeshiva in Brooklyn [his alma mater]
He was supposed to speak at the Capitol Hotel but the speech was cancelled.
I met with R’ Meir Kahana for an hour in his office in Yerushlaim. I was interested in hearing first hand his outlook on the matzav.
כהנא היה צודק Kahana saw the whole picture
I was there and was Zocheh to have him stop by my home while looking for a place after the Capitol suddenly canceled the event. I had asked him why he has no body guard. He said he didn’t want to spend money from the cause for a body guard. Then just 2 days later R”L. Oy, how we need his clarity today. הי”ד.
We all see today, that unfortunately he was right.
He loved his fellow Jews and the holy land. He understood the mentality of the Arabs/Palestinians which till today the American govt, and even Israeli’s dont get it. He had the guts to try and do something about it…for which he was killed….A great hero…and so right was he.
When will you publish the whole speech?
Quote: “We don’t have an Arab problem, we have an Israeli problem”.
What a true statement!!!!!
It’s so painful to see that in 25 years, after so much innocent blood was spilled, Israel and the world has unfortunate learned nothing!!!!
They still talk about the “peace process” a process that leads to anything but peace.
On the other hand ,he was always overly sure of himself and convinced that he understood that bigger whole picture better than others.- WRONG
Yudel-
כהנא היה צודק Kahana saw the whole picture – RIGHT

WELL SAID!!!!
Bottom line? The man was so right. The world does not understand the Arab mentality. The world does not see that the same ones murdering innocent people in Israel are the ones who crashed into the Twin Towers, Blow up hotels in Africa, and detonate bombs in Europe. They are one and the same. It’s just that in Israel it’s ok to the world because it’s only Jews being killed. The world does not care about that. Someone please send this video to Obama and Kerry.
So all the Gedolim who held him to be badly wrong ,were..

Amusing and funny?
,
In Israel ,they in general say,on Israel issues that כהנא meant well but was probably wrong
However on american or russian issues he was
probably right
While in America we generally say, that on
american/russian issues he was probably wrong.
However on israell issues he was probably right..
Rabbi Miller was asked about Meir Kahane, end shiur e62. Rav Miller didn’t say anything against him. He did say that “the biggest critic of the Reform was Kahana, that’s why they killed him. They gave an arab a gun & kipa & paid him & got him off the hook for murder too.” Listen to it for yourself.
