Thousands of Lakewood residents are without power this morning.

The outage appears to be very widespread ranging from the area of Route 88 and New Hampshire Ave. to Cedarbridge Avenue and MLK Street.

Multiple traffic lights are out as well.

The Cheder school and other schools in the area reporting a power outage as well.

Multiple people have been trapped in an elevator on Boulevard of Americas.

UPDATE: Police tell TLS per JCP&L it appears to be a circuit breaker issue. They gave an 11:30 AM ETA to restoration.

UPDATE 10:35 AM: Power has been restored.
