This happened at a park in Brick

A Lakewood resident was at a park in Brick yesterday when this happened.

“I was pushing him on the swing and she was watching, so I asked her if she wanted to come on with him and hold him,” the boy’s mother said. “She was so sweet, and so was her mom!”

A beautiful sight.

  1. Not sure I understand what “happened”. Is it really newsworthy when people act nice and normal to each other??
These things happen every day everywhere

  2. You’re right @huh that this isn’t newsworthy. Unfortunately, with only negative stories making their way to the news, it is important to highlight these stories as well, as reminders that this happens on a daily basis, all the time. It’s also important to point out, as you did, that this isn’t newsworthy, so we can further be reminded that the good in our communities far outweighs the bad.

  3. By posting the picture, you are drawing attention to the fact that you think it’s highly unusual, while in truth, such interactions happen on a daily basis in parks where regular mothers and children gather.

  4. Please do not post any pics/videos of girls/women in respect to the many many Orthodox Jewish men who view your site innocently .
    Thank you for your understanding.

ps.all those who now want to attack me for this, enjoy it!

    • Sorry but you are not innocently goingto this site. If you don’t want to see pics or videos of ladies/girls stay off the internet period.

    • WHAT ????? Is in YOUR mind that you can’t even look at a picture of a girl/woman ??

Do you go through life with blinders on ? Because, if you do, they don’t work !! Woman are in front of you too !! So far in front that you will never catch up !!

I know this won’t get printed ! However, if definitely needs to !!!!!

I really hope this man doesn’t speak for all !!!!

  5. Totally agree with many of my fellow commentators. The fact that this is even newsworthy is racism. Is Brick township the south during the 1950’s?!

  6. nice pic. The point here is not racist rather it is anti racist. it shows that we can and should all get along peacefully. As far as the request not to show anyone female, pal you are years too late. Irregardless of your intentions, i need to inform you that you can’t turn the clock back

  7. This is newsworthy. It is showing the many many haters out there that we ARE loving caring friendly people. And we WANT TO get along and be friends with everyone. Enough with the hate. Lets spread love not rise up and spread hate.

  8. Lovely picture. The problem here is the adults of the world. Children don’t see color. They don’t see peyos or long skirts. They see other kids that they want to play with. My children have played many games of tag with frum and secular alike, boys and girls together, and at a young age it is all just enjoying other people. It’s not until adults force their opinions on children that they even realize something isn’t the same.

We should all encourage the friendliness shown here. People would hopefully be more open to kindness if we did.
