The Business Propeller Group Is Launched to Help Bolster Community Business Owners

[COMMUNICATED] Starting a business is a difficult challenge for anyone. Ensuring business growth and meeting business ambitions are worthwhile goals that need a proper strategy.

Running a business, even one that may be in existence for a few years, is anything but a simple feat.

Many challenges and obstacles must be dealt with in order to retain the competitive edge and remain successful.

Fact is many businesses struggle and would benefit greatly from proper direction, strategy and availability of the proper business services to support and assist them in navigating the ever changing business landscape of the twenty-first century.

Enter The Business Propeller Group (BPG).

BPG was established by a group of professionals, each with a specific area of business expertise, united in their mission of being a comprehensive resource to business owners, entrepreneurs and other professionals, who would benefit from the collective knowledge, acumen and sense of purpose that such an alliance provides.

The premise of BPG is simple. A project manager will meet with prospective clients and ascertain the challenges and pain points that are afflicting the business, or  hear their growth projections and ambitions, and deftly form a strategy for success, utilizing the talents and skills of as many of the BPG members as necessary, in a convenient, cohesive and resourceful way.

BPG is not affiliated with any organizations or entities; it’s simply a group of community businesses uniting to help other community businesses.

The initial  member businesses of BPG include Bitbean Workspaces, a co-working space outfit led by Ralph Lasry; Sky Equities, an equity firm run by Raphael Kaplan; GT SIGNS, a full-service signage company run by Gershy Tress;  Consult Write, led by Chayale Kaufman, a print/online media strategist;  M.Y. Consulting, a business consulting firm led by Mutty Tress; Brand Right marketing Group, a web design and branding agency led by Chaya Fischman;  Business Recruiting Broker, Meir Dickstein;  Profound Business, a business strategy and marketing & communication firm run by Y.H. Levovitz; Gratyr, a video production company led by Mordy Gelfand; LG properties commercial  realtor, Yossi Lipschitz;  Banquest Payment systems, run by Kalman Frisch; SmartPay Payroll, led by Yossi Hettelman and  Northstar Financial, led by Shmuly Kanarek.

The need for BPG is apparent and long overdue, and as it launches and begins helping our community’s businesses, the goal is to continue adding members to the BPG to further strengthen its usefulness, strength and capabilities on behalf of our community.

  1. Hey Mr. Questions…. Nothing in life is free.

This a wonderful group of talented business people 9 I know quite a few of the names on the list) pooling their collective talents and resources to help other businesses succeed. This is such a needed service in Lakewood as well as elsewhere.

Why is it that so many have the mentality that everything should be free for them? That everyone owes them? Like everything in life, if you put in hard work and invest what is necessary to invest, you will succeed.

  2. Why the defensive lash out? Mr. Questions asked an innocent well worded question without expectations, demands etc….ok you’re so cool you know these businessmen, does that give you a license to wash the floor with the commentator? For shame! When will people stop attempting to pick themselves up by pushing others down???

  3. Really wasn’t a crazy question. I don’t know who these businesses people are but it is fairly common for very successful business people with a philanthropic mindset to give back a little through coaching and mentoring. On the other hand, it is not so common for busy successful business people to have the time (or need) to make a few extra bucks on the side by mentoring others. I have no issue either way, just explaining where the question may have been coming from.

  4. I don’t understand…
What is the benefit of this new process?

If I was just starting a business and had lots of questions in many different fields, I would pick up the phone and call each respective business directly. I would let them know, I ‘just’ have a few questions and I’m not planning on using your services… Some would gladly offer help, on the prospect of me becoming their customer, while others would not.

If this new service costs money, then NOW does that mean these business will charge for ‘just’ answering questions?

I happen to have once asked ‘just’ questions to Smart Pay and he gladly explained a lot to me… (for free).

  5. You can get advise from anyone for free.
And as the saying goes, you get what you pay for…
A better analogy would be a basketball team. The great center may score many points and grab alot of rebounds, but without a well rounded team, he won’t win many games.

  6. As a business owner, I would offer some information for free, to a potential future customer. Even if he tells me, he’s not planing on using me. Because if i show him my true expertise and knowledge etc. one day he might come back to me or send a friend.
Obviously for a reasonable amount of time.

  7. I just spoke to one of the businesses involved. Whole of course it isn’t a free service, or a chesed project, it has many benefits, as they are streamlining the process for new business owners and those businesses that are struggling, and having the resources available in a streamlined way, with one project manager at the helm, to ultimately save business owners much money, stress and energy.

A business that is struggling or needs help in any way, or someone who is thinking of starting a business, will benefit greatly from the collective talent, goodness and resources of this new group.

I was told that this group formed specifically due to many businesses trying on their own to contact each individual piece of the puzzle, and finding the process too arduous and hard to navigate. Thus, having a project manager working with you, and having the many parts of the puzzle receptive to that project manager, is a recipe for success.
