[Reader-Submitted] Thank you Dr. Roberts for a beautiful carnival yesterday. Despite the winds and the unusable rides, my children and grandchildren had a very lovely time. I sought youout to express my appreciation, but when I finally found you, you were so preoccupied with making sure the emergency vehicle rides were running smoothly, I could only get in a simple “thank you” – certainly a gross understatement. So, I will elaborate more appropriately here:

Thank you for the delightful petting zoo. My son who loves animals spent at least 1/2 hour there, petting and feeding the sweet lamb and gentle sheep. The alpaca was a special treat – beautiful and not the usual. We also enjoyed the rabbits, ducks, pony, and donkey. I would also like to mention the patient owners/employees of the particular farm. They outdid themselves in providing for a pleasant experience despite the large crowd.

Thank you for the emergency vehicle rides. The children all agreed that it was worth the long wait! Providing entertainment through the very talented juggler on stilts made the wait an enjoyable activity in its own right. The added bonus of a photo to take home – how incredibly thoughtful!

Thank you for the amazing magician’s performance! For my family that was the icing on the cake.

Thanks for the peckalach, the cotton candy, the story tellers, and the train ride.

Please don’t apologize for the rides that could not be used, or anything else that could not be made more perfect. You do a tremendous chesed with this project. Revel in the simcha that you provide for hundreds of families, and the hundreds of dollars you save for B’ne Torah of Lakewood. No words can truly thank you adequately.
