Rav Shmuel Zalman Stein, the Rosh Yeshiva of Yeshivas Birchas Chaim of Lakewood, was involved in an accident, and will be undergoing surgery this afternoon.

The accident (pictured) occurred Sunday night in Lakewood.

The surgery, which family says is serious, will be taking place at 2 PM.
