I was not there, but drove down to that area after 5 when it was dark! If there are no reflectors worn, there’s not much you can expect. There was a guy crossing in front of me near Kimball, he was aino yehudi so I guess it’s across thr board, and I stopped for him just in time bh. No blame can be put on the driver
Was the driver going quickly or a normal speed? Was the kid crossing with or against the light? There are many missing details. So to say driver can’t be blamed may be a bit premature.
Ditto! (Not to mention hitchhikers, especially at night, R’L)

Anyone know how he’s doing?
A lot of Mosdos when they make a mailing campaign, they may send a calendar, a Sefer (I got a few) or something else.
Maybe a Mossad can send reflective belts or a coupon to buy it at a discount at a local store (maybe 50% off). This can be good advertising for our local stores.
A Mossad can offer to sell these belts (for a discount) at a PTA meeting.
He is alert with several fractures. BH Stable.
Any update?

Each school should give them out to their Talmidim and Talmidos.
Stop with the reflecters!!! There’s a yiddish child’s life on the line!!!! Stop with the nonesense!
Why is a reflective belt nonsense?
That corner where the accident took place, some individuals do not follow basic traffic laws and also some people are on the phone.
Even if a guy is using a Bluetooth, he is still a little distracted. A reflective belt can definitely help.
This shouldn’t be the responsibility of the schools. The parents should give them to their children and insist that they wear them.
I was on the corner of Prospect and Williams tonight and watched one person blow the red light, the next one turn left from the right lane and the third one pass someone from a turning lane, and a fourth one talking on their cell phone while wizzing by. So instead of blaming this on reflectors, everyone should reflect on their driving. Slow down, follow the rules, and perhaps a bit more enforcement of rules that exist.
