A young boy is in serious condition this evening after colliding with a vehicle in Lakewood.

The boy, 10, was riding his hoverboard in the Raintree neighborhood shortly before 7:00 PM when he collided with a vehicle.

The boy was treated by Hatzolah paramedics and transported to Jersey Shore University Medical Center with serious injuries.

The Lakewood Police Department’s Traffic Safety unit is investigating the incident.
