Teen Scooterist Seriously Injured in Lakewood Accident [PHOTOS]

A teen scooterist was seriously injured in an accident this morning in Lakewood.

The accident happened around 10:40 AM at the intersection of River Avenue and High Street.

Hatzolah treated the boy on scene before transporting him to JSUMC with non-life-threatening injuries, police say.

The teen, approximately 15 years old, was wearing a helmet at the time of the accident, which likely prevented even more serious injuries.
